On Tuesday, Cara Santa Maria from The Huffington Post released an insightful video covering objectively the benefits and shortcomings involved in the act of prayer. I've known for a long time that a blanket statement of "it's no good at all" isn't quite accurate. The person who is praying does benefit some. Take a look:
