Volcano Eruption, a Solar Eruption, and the Milky Way
Today on Boston.com's The Big Picture:
"Volcano erupts in Chile"
"A plume of ash, estimated six miles (10km) high and three mile wide is seen after a volcano erupted in the Puyehue-Cordon Caulle volcanic chain, about 575 miles (920 km) south of the capital, Santiago June 4."

"Video: Jetpack Soars to 5,000 Feet"
Incredible. It's amazing that this technology has come to this point. I used to dream about having a helicopter. Forget that, give me a jetpack and I'll be set!
Off of Boing Boing:
"Cassini: "space fan"-made film, using NASA footage"
Beautiful, mesmerizing, with amazing choice of audio accompaniment.
