Lions and Flying Devil Rays

------
Cut me some slack and file this under Biology
This guy's job amazes me.  I realized as I watched this video that my jaw had involuntarily dropped.  I must share it!  It's like seeing a spring, coiled tight, with razor sharp things (claws) aimed right you.  Emotionally harrowing from the devastating potential.  It makes me nervous just watching it.  I'd go batty in person at ANY proximity.

Flying devil rays are an amazing thing to see.  I often wondered what motive ocean creatures have to propel themselves above the surface.  Devil rays are a lesser known example with this tendency.
